School Calendar

As the winter sports season approaches, be kept up-to-date on upcoming events and schedule postponements, cancellations and reschedules. By clicking on the School Calendar link above, you will be directed to the on-line school calendar page. This calendar is typically the most current version of school activities and events available. We publish printed schedules, but as you should be aware, schedules can change after those are printed.

Right now on the calendar, it is mostly high school events and schedules that are posted. In the next month, we will be working on getting the middle school athletic schedules posted.

And as an added feature, you can sign up for automated notices any time an event is changed, postponed, cancelled, or rescheduled. To sign up, once you are on the School Calendar page, click on the Notify Me! link just left of the monthly calendar in the upper right corner of the page.

If you have questions, please contact the Supt.'s office.

NASHUA PLAINFIELD FFA KICKS OFF
UNIQUE PROGRAM TO BENEFIT IOWA FFA

Program to raise nearly $4 million dollars for the completion of the FFA Enrichment Center

(Nashua, IA – November 1, 2009)  As the 2009 corn harvest continues, farmers are thinking about purchasing seed for next year’s corn crop. And this year they will have the opportunity to participate in the Stine Seed Program, which will allow farmers to purchase Stine brand seed corn from local FFA chapters, with 100% of the proceeds going directly to state and local programming. This extraordinary project is designed to raise nearly $4 million towards the completion of the FFA Enrichment Center in Ankeny, Iowa. The Stine Seed Program was established through the generosity of Stine Seed Company founder, Harry Stine.

Growers interested in purchasing seed, should contact any FFA member or the Nashua-Plainfield FFA Chapter at 319-239-0909 or rzelle@nashua-plainfield.k12.ia.us
